I DId It!As promised, I shaved my head for cancer research. Please consider donating to my fundraising!
Tomorrow Is The Big DayYes, that is right. Tomorrow is the big day. I am a little anxious tonight but ready to shave this old wrinkled head of mine. I have lots of fun hats to keep it warm and I am excited to help in a small way to give to a great cause.
Baldy SoonOne week from tomorrow I will have a smooth. shiny head ~ please help me reach my goal to raise money for cancer research!
A Time for GivingI reach out to you today to hopefully touch your heart and nudge you to donate to my Shave My Head campaign~ On December 30th, 2020 I am going to take the plunge and shave my head for a great cause. I want to make a difference in this world and this little step will help me do that. When I hear that a loved one or a friend has been diagnosed with cancer I feel so helpless. I am not good with the medical side of things (I get very weak in the stomach and have been known to pass out) but I can run errands, bring you meals etc. Shaving my head will be another thing I can do to help me feel less helpless. Please, please consider helping me reach my goal. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Think of Your Loved Ones - Here and GoneI am shaving my head for my loved ones who have survived cancer and those that have moved on. Please think of your loved ones here and gone and donate to my cause in their honor or memory. I can shave my head alone but I can't raise the money alone. I need your help and concern for others to get me to my goal. Thank you.
Who Inspires MeI have thought about shaving my head for weeks now. My sister, my brother-in-law, his sister and many friends have all suffered with some form of cancer. They have been the survivors. There are two people who are in my life right now that pushed me over the edge and convinced me to shave my head and help in my own little way to fight this ugly disease. My brother-in-laws sister and my younger brother's high school friend who I have come to know quite well. They are are both battling cancer right now. I have been sad many days for them. Shaving my head is nothing compared to what they are going through and feeling.
Why I Am Shaving My HeadI am shaving my head because I hate hearing and seeing people suffering from any kind of cancer. I am shaving my head in memory of my Dad and my Nana. I am shaving my head in honor of my sister, my brother-in-law, his sisters and brothers and many, many friends who have suffered through some kind of cancer diagnosis. I am shaving my head because we need to find a cure and a few months without hair is nothing compared to what other's who suffer. Please help me reach my goal and be a part of finding a cure.
