Why I’m doing this
I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and finally bit the bullet and have committed to shaving my head on 16th July…!
You don’t need me to tell you that cancer is an awful and very scary disease that affects nearly everyone’s life in some way.
I have friends who have had it, friends who are currently undergoing treatment and, heartbreakingly, I recently lost my Aunty Ann to ovarian cancer.
This is a small thing I can do to help the fight.
When I said I was going to shave my head I thought it was going to be a walk in the park. But now that the date is approaching I’m feeling pretty nervous.
But I’m also really proud to challenge myself and in doing so hopefully raise a lot of money!!!!
