Challenge
What is 2KM A Day In May?
The 2KM A Day In May Challenge is a fundraising initiative of Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). By participating as an individual or as a team, you will be challenged every day in May to complete 2kms or more of movement to help raise essential funds for lifesaving cancer research. Not only will you help fund pioneering cancer research, but you’ll meet likeminded people, develop healthy habits, and take steps towards becoming the best version of you!
Can I challenge myself to run or walk more than 2km a day in May?
You are a superstar, yes you can! You can choose to challenge yourself to complete:
- 2kms of daily movement for the 2 in 5 Australians diagnosed with cancer before their 85th birthday.
- 4kms of daily movement for the 444 Australians diagnosed with cancer every day.
- 6kms of daily movement for the 6,000 Australian women diagnosed with cancer each month.
When does the challenge begin?
Registrations and fundraising will open on 10 March, 2024. However, the official 2KM A Day In May challenge will begin on Wednesday, 1 May and finishes on Friday, 31 May, 2024.
